Students fight for…inconclusiveness?

While we fully promote individuality and creativity, it is views such as from this student that makes me question the priorities of tomorrow’s leaders.

Specific algebraic equations and the GDP of Peru may not play a role in the ‘real world’, but all of the processes involving problem solving, research, social interaction and critical thinking will probably continue forever.

The bureaucracy that influences and forms the education system does not only play a role in the ‘real world’, but more easily enslaves those who don’t attain these basic human skills. Agreed, grades themselves may not reflect intelligence, but often do reflect the ability to apply intelligence toward an intricate game called life.

It would be interesting to see how yesterday’s social commentators would depict the shift in the role of today’s youth. The following may provide an upgraded view of one of Norman Rockwell’s masterpieces.
