{"id":3473,"date":"2025-04-05T16:53:55","date_gmt":"2025-04-05T20:53:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.destinationcreation.com\/informatives\/?p=3473"},"modified":"2025-05-02T13:52:36","modified_gmt":"2025-05-02T17:52:36","slug":"jadoo-of-the-djinn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.destinationcreation.com\/informatives\/jadoo-of-the-djinn\/","title":{"rendered":"Jadoo of the Djinn &#8211; AI Trailer + Tutorial"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A tutorial on the workflow I used to create this concept trailer using both AI and traditional digital tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Jadoo of the Djinn\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lF9Mlf-oDpI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"AI Movie Trailer Tutorial - Consistent Characters and Sound with Runway, Leonardo and ElevenLabs\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W6lB6A5EJes?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re having trouble with consistent character generation and producing believable AI video creation, this tutorial is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s a step by step summary about my workflow for creating this Bollywood style movie trailer, complete with consistent characters and believable imagery, sound, music and effects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While AI played a large role in the production, understanding the capabilities and limitations of different tools, and how you integrate them, is critical to achieving professional results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Script using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chatgpt.com\">ChatGPT<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I started by prompting ChatGPT to write a 60 second script for a movie trailer with a simple outline of my story.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docs.google.com\">Google Docs <\/a>to edit script\/break down into scenes. Comments to specify shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I edited the script in a Google Doc, using the comment feature to describe details about visuals for each shot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Voiceover using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audacityteam.org\/\">Audacity<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I recorded the edited script in my own voice in Audacity. You can use any free voice recorder for this step.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elevenlabs.io\">Elevenlabs <\/a>to change voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In ElevenLabs, I used their voice change feature to alter my voice into a more cinematic movie trailer style voice. You can use one of many text-to-voice tools out there, but they won\u2019t retain the rhythm, emphasis or pronunciation of your intended style, like a voice changer can.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/leonardo.ai\/\">Leonardo AI<\/a> to create images per shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leonardo AI allowed me to create consistent character images using different views and angles of my own face. With this feature, I created images of the character using text prompts in scenarios as per the script doc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/creativecloud\/\">Adobe Photoshop<\/a> to clean up images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As many of the AI images were not ideal, I cleaned them up using Adobe Photoshop. Some of the cleanup entailed generative AI expand to fill a 16:9 aspect ratio, cleanup of distorted or unwanted parts of generated images, and even complete face swaps using traditional, non-AI methods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/runwayml.com\/\">Runway Act One<\/a> tool to make lip sync scenes for Magician and Djinn monster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Runway\u2019s Act One tool allowed me to translate videos of my own recorded actions and voice into performances by characters that were generated as static images in Leonardo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I revisited ElevenLabs voice change feature as required for specific and unique character voices.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Imported images into <a href=\"https:\/\/runwayml.com\/\">Runway <\/a>with text prompts to create videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I continued on Runway to generate videos using my library of Leonardo AI images along with text prompts and camera movement options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I exported each successful video into an assets folder on my local machine. Be prepared to generate many videos using variations in prompts before you find one you can actually use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Compiled and edited video in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/creativecloud\/\">Adobe Premiere Pro<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In Adobe Premiere Pro, I laid out my script in the Audio timeline and started editing my video using clips from my assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elements.envato.com\">Envato Elements<\/a> for music and sound effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I obtained licensed music and sound effects from Envato Elements to include in my Premiere Pro project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Added VHS effects in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/creativecloud\/\">Adobe After Effects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When I was satisfied with the final cut, the last step was to add a VHS effect to mask any too-perfectness of AI or CG, as well as add an additional old school aesthetic look to the final production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Produce final video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>And there you have it. Have fun with this new technology.
