I agree with the crowbar. good weight. nice balance. it will break as many skulls as you need it to.

well if the question was about a CUTTING weapon, i'd use a machete or katana. But this is about STABBING, so i would use a crowbar through the eye socket because it can stab, bludgeon, and be used to break into areas otherwise unaccessable.

Dual Katanas...

Katana all the way, good reach no reloading, isnt' gonna break or dull, and cleaves zombie flesh like no other.

I really think that drum sticks would be best to *ahem* beat *ahem* a zombie with!

Hatchet. More control when swing multiple times.

Cutlass, it's like the cliche katana, but it can actually be used to hack and stab without shattering and you don't have to sift through 10,000 knock offs to find a decent one.

Machete, hands down. Stabbing, swinging, slicing... Yes, please.

A bayonet, obviously.

Machete or the classic shotgun, but only if we are dealing with slow zombies. Machete for any kind and AK-47 for fast zombies.

Glaive, halberd, pole arm, spear. not great for close range, but quite optimal for keeping the creatures well past an arms length as well as stabbing and hacking, also doubles as walking staff, propping things up, knocking supplies off of high shelves, etc.

a hand and a half sword

A long sharp sword, strapped over my back.

A Katana or Machete. No reloading, good reach, effective.

Sawed off shotgun of course. What zobie movie has ANYONE seen without a shotgun and/or chainsaw? come on people!!!

I would use something "mid-ranged". A knife or a crowbar is far to close range and a pole arm would leave the user vulnerable and off balance. A Falchion or a Messer would be preferable. Easy to carry, a good slicer/chopper, and no serrations. A serrated blade will get caught or stuck on/in bone; no matter how rotten the walking corpse.

Razor sharp katannas

I would use a toothpick. Just for the lulz.

alright look at the question its STABBING WEAPONS not a hacking like machete( which is perfect) or ax. i dont understand why the ax is even on this poll.

Well mine would be a bullet. From a gun. The bullet stabs the zombie

i'd chose a bayonet
attached to a rifle so i can stab them and shoot them at the same time

Samurai Sword

I would pick a trench hammer. it was used in world war two to go through a helmet and into the skull.. vary nice to have even if your zombie is wearing head protection.

Freddies gloves

MACHETE ALL THE WAY! for mellee, and of coarse a glock at my side aand a semi auto rifle on my back (preferably fully auto but those are hard to find)

An ASV.... army vehicle... mrap class. turret with dual mounted .50 cal machinegun and Mk-19 gernade launcher... and its full self contained, 80% submersable, and holds 8 people....

I would pick either an axe, shovel or a cricket bat, or even a shot gun with the top part sawed off, so many to choose from....

Melee weapons are a bad idea.

It's all about hatchets. Light, versatile, and easy to grab in close quarters (assuming you ever get that close) the hatchet is the most practical melee anti-zombie weapon for the end of the world.

Crowbar! semi-light, durable, high damage and can also be used as a tool! =)

Kukari blades like the ones Alice uses in Resident Evil:Extinction Those are some BAMF knives if there ever were any!!!

Sharp wooden stick

I would use a Crowbar. weighs less than a fire axe but still packs a wallop, has decent reach, isnt bulky, made of one solid peice, so it's less likely to break, can be used to pry open doors, boxes and nailed planks (good for looting boarded houses).

36" wrecking bar, or a baseball bat studded with nails at the tip.

A Power Sword from Warhammer 40k...slice right through them buggers!
